Application Process for Pursuing MBBS in Ukraine - Things to Know

Studying medicine in India has always been challenging and time-consuming compared to any other field of education. In India, the chances of getting a good score in the entrance examination are abysmal. To make matters worse, students often do not get admission into a college of their choice.

Ukraine is a European country that enjoys a 100% literacy rate. It is often regarded by most medical students as the best country to learn medicine. Application Process

The process of applying to any of the medical universities in Ukraine is not radically different from any other university worldwide. All the overseas applicants who wish to pursue medicine in any of the Ukrainian university first need to fill up the application form before the admission deadline. Once the application form is filled and submitted, the applicant will receive all necessary information regarding the cost of the medical program, living expenses and other expenses that have to be solely incurred by the student once he/she begins his training program. The applicant should then scan the receipt of the necessary documents and send it back as a confirmation for admission in the chosen university.

Once this is done, the applicant will receive an application invitation letter from the specific university where the application form was sent. This invitation letter allows the applicant to apply to the Ukrainian Embassy for VISA. Once the VISA application is sent to the Ukrainian Embassy, the Embassy officials would do the necessary background check and process the VISA application. Applicants should regularly follow up with the nearest Ukrainian Embassy in their country. This shall help them in familiarizing with the correct procedure for VISA clearance. Some basic documents required for the VISA clearance would be birth certificate, original passport, application form of the student received from the Embassy, 12th grade mark sheet, 8 photographs, a copy of medical certificate which is approved by the embassy in the applicant’s country for providing his/her basic health standards, a medical certificate stating that the applicant is not HIV/AIDS infected and medical insurance.
